Were
these people watching the same debate that I was last night? This just proves that most people don't really listen. They are just waiting for their turn to talk. This is a nightmare. Once again the American Presidential Election has become a circus. We are smarter than this people, or are we?

Wow. I have only read the US debate coverage, but that's some pretty positive press for a woman who said she was just going to talk abuot whatever she wanted to tell the American people. This quote from that article is a bit scary:
"She had all the answers. She was right on. She was upbeat. I think she's gonna make a fine vice president."
I can only speak for myself but I thought it was one of the worst debate performances I've ever watched. Painfully bad!
Ms. Palin failed to answer the questions and went on endlessly reciting the same tired rhetoric, which was probably the safest bet since I doubt she had a clue as to the answers. My ears were bleeding from hearing the word Maverick so many times.
The only reason she's getting good reviews is because the bar of expectations was set so very low. If this debate was a marathon she would have been DNF.
Be sure and vote to keep her finger off the "NUCKULAR" weapons button. Humm...does George W. Bush have a much younger sister? ;-)
I'm trying to figure out when not completely screwing it up became an acceptable standard for a debate performance by someone who wants to be one dead guy away from the Oval Office.
It's not just other Alaskans. The allegedly "liberal" media are giving her a huge break today simply because she didn't melt down.
She also didn't give a single straight answer, at least not in the second half of the debate, which is what I was able to watch.
After being outside the US for a few years, I can safely say that the rest of the world is wondering how Americans can be so dumb.
Unfortunately the link is not working so I couldn't see the clips you were referring to. But is it a matter of stupidity - or just a different perspective?
